Description
This is my most prized creation in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, the Mona Lisa Painting.
This image is the result of resizing a picture of the Mona Lisa to the respective resolution, converting the image to an indexed pallet, reducing the pallet to around 11 colors, and finally reducing those to about 8 colors as I reconstructed it pixel-by-pixel into the game.
The design took the most time of all my designs, roughly taking between 2 to 4 hours to complete. Each pixel was carefully added, by hand, exactly as I saw it in the image I prepared on my computer. That way I could ensure that the image was as transferred as accurate and as clear as possible.
I'm glad I am able to share my success with the design through QR as I hope it will save any others the time and effort of it.. Plus it makes a wonderful centerpiece in a home.
While I do believe I've heard you can buy a Mona Lisa paining already in-game, this one was actually "painted" pixel by pixel and costs virtually nothing to get it. It saves time, money, and you can use it for more than decoration..heck, you could wear it as a shirt or something else.
