I've been on deviantART for four years now.
My first submissions were horrible, and even up until recently, a lot were just sad and definitely not what I'd like to call "art."
I always wished I could do something art-related that was good, but since the only thing I WAS good at was music, it was useless here.
One of my friends was into photography for as long as I've known him, and now a mutual friend of ours has gotten heavily into photography.
Finally, after a little persuasion, I have decided to get into photography as well.
Since getting my camera - actually, since even being loaned my friend's old camera before I had gotten my own, I have been working hard to get good at photography.
I returned his camera and got mine very shortly after. I have taken probably around 1,300-1,400 photos so far (including many which I have deleted or were just lighting tests) and I have been learning to take better photos each time. On top of that, I have practiced a lot with Camera RAW in Photoshop to get the most out of my images.
With my humble Nikon D3100, 50mm f/1.8 lens, and Photoshop CS5, I want to do my best to finally make some art worthy of putting on deviantART.

An old friend is back!!
I'm so excited!
So recently I've been contacted by one of my closest friends on here.. I haven't spoke to them in ages, so I'm really glad!
I just added them on Facebook and might add them on Skype too.. It's been years, but now I'm so glad they're back. :D
Life is good.. ^.^
It's my birthday: I'm 21 and legal!
Hey everyone, just felt like getting excited cause in less than 15 minutes of writing this post, I'll be 21! :P
I can legally have alcohol, so I might have a shot of vodka to celebrate and just pretend like it's actually a big milestone for birthdays.. lol =p
Well.. Woo! :D haha
dAmnGotMail Released! (Automatic Inbox Checker)
dAmnGotMail, Released, version 1.1
After a long day of hard work, I'm proud to announce the release of dAmnGotMail version 1.0 and it's immediately following bugfix, version 1.1!
The script works with Firefox (with Greasemonkey) and it now works with Google Chrome with the 1.1 update.
(The link for the script's deviation is at the bottom of this journal post.)
Purpose - What the script does.
The dAmnGotMail script is a Greasemonkey and Chrome script that will automatically update your deviantART inbox. The script has minor differences; however, it looks nearly identical to the original inbox in every single way. You are sure to enjoy the
dAmnGotMail
I'm currently working on a script that will automatically update the inbox on dA.
Originally I had created a script just to remove it to take care of my OCD; however, Dediggefedde (https://www.deviantart.com/dediggefedde) said I should just make an updating inbox. He gave me some good code to start with, linked a script of his own which is pretty outstanding as it is, and now my script is nearing completion..
I'll admit I started by tinkering with the code he gave me, tinkered with some of his script's code and then even forked some of it to make this one.
I won't sugar coat it; I could not have made it without his help and access to his pre-existing work. I'm just glad that
